Complaints Procedure

At replaced_by_bots, we take your complaints seriously. We strive to handle your complaint humanly — not by a chatbot. We understand the irony: an AI insurer promising not to use AI for customer service. But some things just need to be done by a human. Complaining is one of them.

Step 1: Get in touch

Send your complaint by email to [email protected]. Include a clear description of your complaint and the outcome you desire. We'll confirm receipt within 3 business days. If you don't hear from us after 3 days, your complaint wasn't filtered by an AI — we're just busy.

Step 2: Internal complaint handling

If your complaint cannot be resolved directly, it will be forwarded to our internal complaints committee. This committee consists of real people who read, discuss, and — if we're lucky — also understand your complaint. We aim to reach a definitive position within 4 weeks . You will receive the position in writing, with an explanation that was not written by ChatGPT.

Step 3: Not satisfied?

If you disagree with our position, you can submit your complaint to an independent financial services complaints institute. They are independent and happy to take over from us. We promise not to hold a grudge — machines don't do that, and we try not to either.

Our aim

replaced_by_bots considers every complaint an opportunity to improve our services. Or at the very least, as proof that someone is still reading our website. Your feedback helps us improve — and in a world full of AI, "improving through human feedback" is actually quite a beautiful concept.
